I think Declan is the new ultimate book boyfriend!!
Declan has returned home after leaving the Marines. He knows his brother Sean has finally broken up with Harper, and he finally sees his chance.  But, when he gets home, he's told Sean and Harper are back together... but things don't add up!.
Harper has her life on track. She and Sean are finally over...he broke up with her in public. So why would she fake a relationship with him??
Declan's return puts Harper in a precarious position...she needs Sean to be honest about what is happening.
Lots of drama with other characters...can't wait to find out Gavin and Brystol's story!

First, a heartfelt thank you to Kelley Elliott for the ARC opportunity! I loved returning to Moose Village with this emotionally charged romance.
This Feeling gives us a delicious blend of tropes—fake dating, second chances, and the complicated twist of falling for your ex’s brother. Declan and Harper’s story is full of tension, heartache, and slow-burning chemistry. Declan, a former Marine, made the difficult choice to walk away from Harper to protect her from the hardships of his military life. That decision sets off a chain of events that leads Harper into a relationship with Declan’s brother—one that ends badly and leaves emotional scars for everyone involved.
The push and pull between Harper and Declan is palpable throughout the book. Their connection never really faded, and watching them navigate their past hurt and find their way back to each other was both satisfying and swoon-worthy. Declan is the kind of protective, emotionally complex hero that romance readers will adore—a true book boyfriend!
I’m really enjoying the Moose Village series and can’t wait to see which couple steals our hearts next. If you love small-town romance with emotional depth, complicated pasts, and a hero worth rooting for, This Feeling is a must-read.

Looking for a sweet low drama romance?! Look no further!! This feeling was a great addition to the Moose Village series. This book will make you want to find the nearest charming small town and move there! I was hooked immediately and couldn’t put it down! I loved Harper and Declan! This book had me chuckling and feeling the feels! So if you’re in the mood for a small town, friends to lovers, fake relationship, no third act break up romance look no further!!

Received an arc for a honest review.

This Feeling is the second book in Kelly Elliott’s new Moose Village series set in upstate New York. In this book we see Declan return home from being in the Marines for years to start a new chapter and hopefully be able to be with the woman of his dreams. There’s only one problem, the woman in question is Harper who also happens to be his brother’s ex or so he thought. It appears Harper and his brother have gotten back together but something is amiss.

Harper agreed to fake date her ex again to help him get his meddling mother off his back but she didn’t anticipate his older brother Declan coming home for good. Harper has always liked Declan and when it becomes clear that he knows something is up it was time to come clean about the rouse and hopefully explore a potential relationship especially after he helped her make bouquets.

I really like the friendship foundation Harper and Declan formed and how it lead to a healthy relationship. The maturity of their relationship was totally fitting for them and their journey. I’m enjoying my time in Moose Village and there are two people who I hope end up together because the tension between them is unreal and I love a good enemies to lovers story.

Thank you @authorkellyelliott and @greyspromo for this eARC in exchange for my honest feedback.

I loved this book! Even better than the first one in the series. I loved that he had been pining for her after all those years. The intense chemistry they had was so good. This book gave me all the feelings. I cried, I laughed, I swooned. I love feeling a range of emotions while reading. I cannot wait for the third book. Highly recommend starting this series!

This was such an enjoyable read. Declan has always had a thing for Harper, except she's been with his brother. He's a Marine and has avoided home, but is retired and ready to start his life. Harper is no longer with her ex and has interest in Declan, but she has one tiny issue...she agrees to fake date her ex in exchange for Giants season tickets.

This is the second book in Moose Village and I am just obsessed with the town. It gives me Stars Hollow/Gilmore Girl vibes. Everyone knows everyone and secrets don't stay that way long. This series as a whole has been really fun to read with all the personalities of the townspeople. I even found myself laughing outloud.

The pining and slow burn between Declan and Harper is done so well. Declan made me swoon. I just knew those two were perfect for each other. Here's to hoping the next installment in the Moose Village series is as great as the first two have been.

I am absolutely, without a doubt, in love with the Moose Village series from Kelly Elliott.

This Feeling follows the story of Declan and Harper. Declan has had a crush on Harper for as long as he can remember. But something always stood in the way, whether it was Harper’s younger age, his military career, or when she started dating Declan’s brother, Sean. The timing was just never right. But now that Declan’s time in the military is over, he’s ready to return home and hopefully, claim the woman he’s always wanted….

This Feeling is an unforgettable small-town romance that’s not afraid to pull out all the stops. I mean, you’ve got a fake relationship to throw off meddling parents, hilarious moments, off-the-charts chemistry, and a will-they/won’t-they romance that is sure to make anyone’s heart swoon. This book hits all the marks and has unforgettable side characters that you’ll be dying to know more about.

A must-read for lovers of swoon-worthy, small-town romances!

This book pulled at my heart strings. I loved Emily so much. She was such a strong FMC and she just didn't take bull from anybody no matter what. She  was insecure in certain ways especially being a single mom who didn't make much at work and now finding her son's dad and him being apart of a wealthy family, it made her feel like they would take him from her and do a better job. But it all worked out and I loved how they gave her shit because she was someone newly entering their family and you know how it is with a rich family, women will just pop up and say they're pregnant or they have a child for them just to get a payout so it made sense that they acted so cold BUT they started to warm up to her and even welcomed her into their family. I loved her bestie Giana, she was just *chefs kiss* when it came to friends who are actually family but her family especially her mom is a scum and her dad is NOT a man, he's a little boy following his wife and doing what she says. I was just so happy when Caleb's family accepted her. Caleb was an amazing person and I loved the mixup at the beginning, it made us wonder WTH! is happening, it added an edge. There was one part that I wanted to slap him in his face and tell him to get a grip because what do you mean you're doing that? Yeah I really wanted to slap him in the face. But he was a great person to their son and to her and that little boy just fit in so quickly and was just so precious.

Overall I give this book a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/5. I loved this book and I always love how once reunited they realize why in the first place they hooked up and they just fell right back into it, well not right away, but the attraction was there for sure. I wish I had seen them get pregnant again because they're just so great with their son and I also want him to have that experience from the beginning. I really loved his family and that Emily finally found Caleb; in all the ways possible, and he made her know that she was strong and he showed up for her and his family did that for her too. I really hope we get a Giana book because she's a vibe and such a girls girl for sure. I can't wait for the rest of the series.

💭 Book 2 in the Moose Village series brings us back to charming small-town life, this time with Harper, the flower shop owner, and Declan, her ex’s brother, recently home from the military

From the start, it’s obvious Harper and her ex weren’t a forever match. Declan, though? I enjoyed that secret-pining tension. No suspense subplot like in book one, but there’s still a solid dramatic moment and some standout family scenes, Declan vs. his mom, especially.

The vibes are cozy, and there’s even a nod to Practical Magic that made me smile. Some of the dialogue felt overly formal, and I’d wished there was a bit more build up in Harper and Declan’s relationship. But the book is a short, quick read, and does well with the space it has in the pages.

Overall this was a satisfying and enjoyable visit to a small town in Upstate New York, a place I’m looking forward to visiting again.
