Main character was annoying and her love interest was horrible. I got halfway and nothing has yet to happen and it was just too boring. It was putting me in a slump and I just couldn’t read anymore.

Loved the story how it connects all the previous plot points but there were some things that I hated. I don’t want to spoil this book too much so just to be safe I’ll use the Spoilers? tag and only talk about things I hated.
One of the few things I hated was the wasps, why did they even appear? Brandy was killed by the wasps not the other way around. Another would be Sarah and Shady’s relationship. I feel as if it was written to never work out. Sarah was incredibly closed off and in 3 years of being with her, Shady still somehow doesn’t gets this. The last big thing that bugged me was Aunt Ena. She’s a demented old lady who has no job and somehow self sufficient, as well as being able to pay Shady for her conveniences as well. I hate that how we got to know the family was trough her and not the attic where Brandy originally died.
But besides that the ending was amazing. This book was just good.
