Cute book. Liked it way more than the first one. I pretty much read it in one sitting wich doesn't happen often.

Great second book! I loved reading about Crosby and Kenna (mainly Kenna) and how they finally gave in to what had been always been brewing between them. I struggled with Crosby's attitudes towards their relationship and his thoughts on commitment sometimes, so that's why it's 4 stars but I still really enjoyed this 🫢🏻

I enjoyed this one however Kenna did get on my nerves a bit, I understood why she was closed off but she had two friends that had proved to her that they were never leaving so I thought that would have kept her from running away mentally.
I really loved Crosby, I thought he was super interesting and fun. I was really looking forward to this book because Crosby and Kenna were so funny in the first book but this ended up getting darker than I had expected which made it a little less enjoyable. Bell was kind of annoying in this one too. Just kept pushing at Kenna and not really respecting the processing time she needed.

Kenna and Crosby are both so guarded going in. They've been burned badly in the past and don't want a repeat in their lives.

Fate and friends seem to think they are exactly what the other may need. I adored everything. Crosby was such a cinnamon roll. Always there to help Kenna no matter what. He was so goofy and charming, while being serious and protective when necessary. Kenna did all she could to withstand Crosby, but watching her fall for him was beautiful.

Loved seeing all the friends throughout the story. I'm a big fan of friend ensembles in romance books. Excited to read the next book.
