5+ Stars!
Perfect Wreckage is the small town romance my heart craved. I absolutely loved this beautiful book. Catherine Cowles drew me in from the very beginning. With a strong, resilient heroine, a swoon-worthy hero and their undeniable connection, there is no doubt in my mind, Perfect Wreckage deserves more than 5 stars.

Kenna is my favorite Catherine Cowles heroine. She's strong, kind and dedicated. She had endure so much emotional and physical pain from people who should have cared for her. Leaving her understandably guarded and striving for safety and stability.

Crosby is totally swoon-worthy. I love him so much. He's so much more than the laid back lawyer we met in Reckless Memories. Every time he interacted with Zoe, a nine year old girl in the foster system, my heart melted.

I love Kenna and Crosby together so much! They compliment each other so well. Their banter was so entertaining and the chemistry between them radiated off the page. He helps her live a freer less guarded life and she shows him what a real relationship should look like.

I'm so impressed by this Wrecked series. Each book so far has gripped and pulled all the emotions out of me. I know it's only two books in but I'm obsessed. I can't wait to read Caelyn and Griffin's story next.

I love Catherine Cowles writing, and I enjoyed this. It just wasn’t anything spectacular or super memorable. I liked Kenna and Crosby. I just wished it hadn’t taken so long for them to both accept that they wanted a real relationship. I also wish there had been more suspense. There was a lot of drama coming from outside sources, but the only real suspense was at the very end. I’m excited to read Caelyn and Griffin’s book though.

“Life is messy and terrifying, but it is also crazy beautiful. You taught me that. You showed me that my wreckage could be perfect in its own way, that all those little cracks in my soul just made me stronger, more beautiful. Truly and authentically me. You taught me what it means to truly live.”

What a beautiful slow burn romance (and a little suspense) this story was! This was my first book from this author but it definitely won’t be my last! I was lucky enough to receive an ARC and I’m so glad I did!

This is a story of two people with broken hearts slowly mending each other’s worlds.
And it was a hard journey for Kenna. Her life was never easy but possibly the strongest woman I’ve read about in a long time. She never faltered. She made a life for herself.
Crosby. Let me swoon for this man. His snarky personality and love for adventure and nature made me love him quick.

This book has No cliffhanger and ends on a really beautiful HEA.

Living a solitary life and only letting a few close friends in, Kenna finds herself having to resurrect her past when she finds herself in a court battle over the property that Harriet left her in her will. Needing an attorney, she gets aide from Crosby who she needs to let into her life. But opening herself up to Crosby and letting all the baggage she has carried around can do one of two things....either close herself off once again or open herself up to finding happiness and true love. Can Crosby be the man to win her heart? Or will the family that she is up against cause more harm than good? When is the fight a good fight? The connection between Kenna and Crosby is more than just a love story. It also encompasses loss and grief, overcoming obstacles and finding true inner strength to overcome the baggage others have put in your life. Truly a heartwarming story.

✨ALLLL THE STARS✨

Perfect Wreckage by Catherine Cowles is the second book in her Wrecked series and OMGGG this one was a straight gut punch to my feelings in the best way possible! I am so emotionally invested with this group of friends. Sooo glad they each get their own book!

This one was all about Crosby - who has pure book boyfriend energy 🔥 and Kenna. She did not have an easy life. Her ability to come out the other side of it all stronger and her huge heart for the people in her life makes you want so badly for her ending to be amazing. I was rooting for her throughout every single page! This series has taken up all of my reading life and I am not at all mad about it 🙌🏻

True rating of 4.5⭐️. Wow oh wow was Crosby such a lovable (and frustrating) H! There’s no such thing as a character without baggage so he had to have some issues but he treated Kenna so well (for the most part, when he didn’t get in his own way.) He was there for her every single time she needed him!

I loved Kenna! She always stood up for herself and never gave up. She made hard choices for her own benefit and stick to them. So often we see the h forfeit what’s best for herself I order to help someone else. She knew she needed to be her top priority in her own life!

I loved the way Catherine wrapped up the drama and gave Crosby and Kenna their much deserved HEA!
