That was a fucking STELLAR volume. The action was intense, nail-biting, and well drawn. The characters were all FUCKING AMAZING and Fushiguro's power up was terrifying yet satisfying to see. The tone for this volume jumped all over the place, but I never felt that it was forced or inappropriate for the scene. Akutami truly has a knack for writing a chapter where I'm wheezing from laughing so hard, then having to take deep breaths after witnessing the monsters introduced. Seriously, those things are pure nightmare fuel and I love it.

This is easily the best volume in the series so far, with it great balance in tone and action as well as character growth. Can't wait to see where the series goes from here.
