This was a lovely graphic novel that breaks down the author's journey of understanding their non-binary identity. A quick and valuable read. “We are all just trying to find a place to call our own. We are all deserving of comfort and safety, a place to call home.”

A stunning debut graphic novel memoir about the author's journey of finding their nonbinary and queer identity. From the gorgeous art to the heartfelt and oh-so-important message, this is a must-read for adolescents and parents everywhere! I can't wait to check out Theo Parish's future works <3

I love this graphic novel memoir from Theo Parish! Thank you Theo for being vulnerable by sharing your journey to discovering your identity. I love the message that discovering yourself is finding your home. I really liked how there is a section about what dead-naming is and how it can impact a person. I knew what it was but I never read about it so it was great to get a clear picture of it. I loved the celebration of Theo’s new name! It was so cute & I loved seeing the real pictures at the end of the book.

The art style is beautiful and I love the font that was used throughout the book, it made it very easy to read. I also love the color purple so having this graphic novel with the purple hues was a personal favorite.

If you are interested in learning about a non-binary persons experience, I deff recommend Theo’s story! Happy Pride!
