This was so much fun. Hilarious, cozy, a bit dark, enjoyable characters. Seems like the author had just as much fun writing it as I had reading it. There are a handful of typos, and a couple confusingly worded sentences that slowed me down, but absolutely worth the read.

I’m so behind on writing reviews but this book brought me such joy I had to rate it.
So many books claim to be comedies and are either mean or not funny, but this one hits just the right tone and maintains it. Memes? Yes. Snark? Sure, but not overwhelming.
I’m also fussy about Seattle based media but gosh this was a Vibe and I loved it. Not exclusionary if you aren’t from the PNW but not fun if you are.
I can’t speak to the Demi or Asian American rep, so I’ll leave that out, but found the other queer rep delightful.
Fans of Gideon the Ninth, What We Do in the Shadows, etc should give this series a shot!

Loved the way we were shown the vampire lore of this story progressively throughout this story instead of info dumping. Just a whimsical cozy horror for sure. Cannot wait to keep reading this series
Not strong editing, the pacing felt off, but overall still a fun time.
DNF'd at 30% and I feel terrible for not liking this book? It should have been sooooo far up my alley. Like, himbo vampires!? My favorite TV show is What We Do in the Shadows. I've seen Buffy the Vampire Slayer 3 times. I love comedies, I love vampires, I love romances. I'm really struggling to understand why I just couldn't get into this book. I just... didn't find it very funny? I didn't feel any chemistry between the main characters? Maybe I'll give it another try in a couple months.
