I like this book it was a good YA I don’t think I’ll continue the series because I don’t think it’s needed but pretty good
mysterious fast-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Plot
Strong character development: Yes

Am I in my YA mystery era? Perhaps. Another one I really enjoyed. I didn’t guess most of the things that happened! Definitely recommend.
slow-paced

The book is okay. The writing feels a bit young (the narrator is a high schooler though, so it tracks). I would’ve liked the pace to be a bit quicker. I really liked Ravi but thought everyone else was a bit dull.

I am slowly realizing I am no longer the target audience for YA books.
Spoiler Mr. Wald being Sal's killer was predictable. I will say.. him not kidnapping the real Andie was a twist I wasn't expecting with her sister being the real killer of Andie.
Probably fun for a younger audience, but not a true thriller.

This was not my favorite book. I guess the high schoolers I know aren’t involved in the types of things these high schoolers were involved in so it seemed very far fetched. There was language used that I’m not a fan of, and morality was very loose, which I understand was necessary for certain characters. I’m just not a fan of normalizing immoral behavior because “it’s what teenagers nowadays do”.
