This was just OK sadly. It's quite short so good if you are looking for a quick read. I was able to finish it but found I didn't care a huge amount for any of the characters and therefore didn't really care what happened. If I don't vibe with the characters, then I'm never going to like the book much, but that's just me. The plot twists were fine but nothing mind-blowing and definitely won't be leaving a lasting impression on me.

I'm giving this book 4 stars for the same reasons I gave 'One Of Us Is Lying' the raring: because while the plot twists (and there were several) didn't shock me whatsoever, I loved the characters and the depth with which they were written that I didn't care about the fact that the shocking moments were underwhelming ♡

The Hanging Girl es uno de los pocos thrillers que he leído y me ha fascinado de principio a fin. Eileen Cook logró crear una historia que me mantuvo enganchado desde la primera página y que a lo largo de sus páginas me fue sorprendiendo cada vez más.
La historia me pareció sumamente interesante y la autora supo desarrollarla de una manera increible. Todo lo que sucedia me iba dejando boquiabierto y cada vez me mantenia más intrigado. hubo un giro a media novela que cambió absolutamente todo y me dejo sin palabras. No pude resistirme y terminé leyendome este pequeño este pequeño en menos de un día.
Los personajes me gustaron mucho, en especial Skye. Es una protagonista que tenia una actitud que me encantaba y me identifiqué mucho con ella. Me parecia bastante graciosa y disfruté bastante leer desde su punto de vista. Los otros personajes secundarios me gustaron bastante, ya que todos son oscuros y fue bastante intrigante descubrir el porque de cada uno.
El final me dejo completamente sorprendido. No lo esperaba en lo absoluto y me tomó desprevenido. Espectacular.
Definitivamente recomiendo a todos que lean este libro: es adictivom, tiene una trama muy buena y sus personajes son bastante interesante.

4.25/5. This was such a fun read and pretty much exactly what I was looking for when I decided to pick it up at the bookstore just a couple of days ago! It's an engaging story full of small and big surprises with a morally grey main character (oh, how I like those!) and lots of (misdirecting) clues thrown in to (mis)lead you along the way. I feel like the ending is one of those people will either love or hate, but it totally worked for me! After now having read this, I definitely want to check out Eileen Cook's other books, especially With Malice.
3.5! This book is somewhere between hot mess and bonkers trip and has the craziest twist ending.
The cover on this one is just ok in my opinion. It's an OK representation of the story, and the title work is good (if a little on the large size).
I don't have much to say about this one. It was OK. I knew pretty much right from the start what some of the twists were going to be. The plot wasn't exactly original. Nor did I particularly care for any of the characters. On top of that, the ending fell a bit flat for me as well.That said, it was a relatively quick read, and I found it engaging enough that I finished it. So that is a checkmark in the plus column for it I guess.
This book would easily been a 5 star book but the ending was so anti-climatic that I almost threw it
