This was a good book. Some parts made me giddy, while others made me angry. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Hmmmm, this book was ok. As soon as I got into it, I felt like I was watching the movie Mean Girls. I mean it is almost just like the movie. As sad as it is, a lot of girls act like this high school. I do feel like the book does a good job over viewing that; but other than that, it's not to much to look forward too.

The main character got really annoying, and the book was sort of slow, but overall, it was ok.

It was basically like "Mean Girls", except in California. It was okay, not one of my favorites.

Pretty slow in the beginning and an abrupt ending

I was not at all pleased with this book. The main character annoyed the heck out of me and the story was almost too repetitive. It was almost like Mean Girls the book edition. The mom was pushy and way to worried about image to even really be considered a mother.

where do i start? i had high hopes for this , until :
1- I realized it was a bad copy/fanfiction of Mean Girls.
2- The development of the characters
3- How stupid Rio can be
4- How poorly the whole story was portrayed
5- And what actually dissapoint me, how sh*tty ( pardon my french) the end was and how it make me not to even want to look for the author novels again.

Ugh. This book was written decently, but I could not get over the main character. She's a bit of an idiot and the people she ends up making "friends" with are vapid mean girls who live to suck up to adults but make their peers' lives miserable.
I also hated the inclusion of coke in the story. It didn't need to be there; we already know Kristi was a bad influence on everyone around her.
It may just be me, but I can't stand characters who have so little personality and will of their own that they kind of just go on with whatever someone else tells them to do. Like...be friends with who you WANT to be friends with, even if it's the so-called "losers". I know that's kind of the whole point of the book, but the main character came off really brainless.

A book that was perfect for listening to while trying to fall asleep. It did make me question my future in school administration. And why anybody would name their character, over the age of 10, Jen-Jen un-ironically is beyond me, it was an okay, at times infuriating, book.
