maybe not how one should start with Kawabata, but still extraordinary, subtle, and strange. things to remember: the ping pong scene, the ending with a pink rainbow, Kuno and Ineko, maybe something beyond Ineko’s mother’s interference. What a story this might have been if Kawabata had finished.

Candy is Dandy but Lions are Syphons

It was an okay book.

A little bit slow to be honest.

Not very politically correct in the lens of today, with regards to mental health.
