This play was charming, silly, theatrical, yet literary and held a deeper meaning that I couldn't quite pin. Having read The Picture of Dorian Gray as my first introduction to Wilde, I was pleasantly surprised at this humorous side of him. Would like to see this staged and produced.

oscar i love you

Very funny, short play in three Acts. I would love to see it live on stage sometime!

A funny view of social climbers and vapid love interests. Short and sweet. Good read!

Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

Fantastically silly. A quick and enjoyable read.

Brilliant.

I feel like I can't say anything more about it. Brilliant. Witty, and clever.

I was so surprised to find that nearly all the famous Oscar Wilde quotations I have ever heard are from this play. The social commentary was wonderfully portrayed and the dialogue was flawless.

And in this tour de perfection, Lady Bracknell stood out as an absolute wretched gem. Oh, to be able to just talk to people like that. So liberating! She is fantastic, even if she is an insufferable snob!

Brilliant.
