A laugh riot! A satire on the Victorian Era. I particularly loved Algernon Moncrieff and his idiosyncratic nature, devouring muffins and Bunburying around.
It is also tragic in a way as immediately after this Oscar Wilde was imprisoned for being homosexual. I am planning to watch its stage and film adaptations.

one of the funniest smartest things i've read in my entire life

Wow, this drama totally surpassed my expectations!!! I expected this to be rather dry, but it was far from it!!

This play enabled me to witness the ridiculousness of the English upper classes and in turn, allowed me to perceive the comedic wit of Oscar Wilde. He truly is a genius when it comes to the written word. I really loved his play on words, and the innuendos within this drama. Absolutely wonderful!!!

Book 1 (or play) of 2017! Not the best, but not the worst. This was definitely entertaining!!
