I pretty funny and short story in the format of the play. I thought the premise was hilarious and the way the dialogue was written it was an easy read. The characters weren’t my favorite but they were definitely relatable. I good classic.

I listened to this as an audiobook while reading it, and it made it so much better!
I had to read this for a class, and usually im not a fan of just reading plays, i prefer watching them while reading to get the full experience.
When i started reading it i was bored and couldn’t focus for more than a few pages but i couldn’t find the play anywhere. So i settled for an audiobook i found on Youtube and i LOVED it.
It’s light, its fun, and i actually laughed out loud a few times.
I recommend finding an audiobook with multiple voices snd listening to it while reading it, just makes the experience so much better.
Creo que es una obra de teatro excepcional y maravillosa que desde la comedia más pintoresca refleja aspectos cuestionables de la sociedad en que se desarrolla... magistral de parte del maestro Wilde. Se critica el matrimonio como medio para alcanzar el nivel social y la doble moral tan notoria durante la época a través de los personajes femeninos. Si uno de ellos pude analizar más a fondo, fue indiscutiblemente a Lady Bracknell y la encuentro maravillosamentw construída. Todos los personajes restantes parecen tener su complemento en otro personaje, menos ella, que representa en su totalidad a la clase social victoriana caracterizada por la rectitud y la "ética" indiscutible, usándola para realizar toda la crítica satírica de la burguesía que representa. Ella se encarga de poner orden entre los romances y las escenas de mayor comicidad; es la encargada de defender las tradiciones, pero también de desenlazar la trama dando el final tan pintoresco que la obra merecía. Asi mismo la traducción me juega una mala pasada al no permitir darnos cuenta del juego de palabras del nombre que reviste especial complicidad con la trama. Aún así merece sus 5
The plot is uninteresting, but the jokes are hilarious. And for some reason, everyone else in my senior year AP English class erupted in laughter at every use of the word "Bunbury."
