This is the first audio that I have ever listened to that had a #fullcast. Such a wonderful experience. The production was fabulous. I think I'm going to search the #Librovox app for more full cast plays. I initially found this bc I was searching for more books narrated by @elizabethklettaudio. I loved her voice from another book recently.
Obviously it is difficult to review a piece of work that has been around for 130 years. I'm actually reviewing it as the audio itself. To be honest, it was a little confusing for the first few minutes as you are getting accustomed to the voices and the story without the use of a visual. But this story stands the test of time. I found the story very amusing and found myself giggling. I'm just glad I wasn't around other people while listening. It would have been embarrassing.
Goodreads says the book is only 89 pages. The audio is 2hr 1min. It's a great break in the middle of heavy books.
