This was pretty cute and funny, but the tone of the ending was jarring.

All this kid wants is to have a beard just like his Dad because he thinks it's the source of his Dad's AWESOME ABILITIES.

In the end, he's scammed by an As Seen on TV type product and discovers his AWESOMENESS was inside him all along.

Everyone knows beards are all the rage and this new book is sure to thrill the bearded dads in your life. The young boy in BEARD IN A BOX will do just anything to grow a beard and be like his awesome dad. Very sweet.
