This is basically a DNF for me I ended up skimming the last 40ish % of the book. For such a cool world, this book is so boring. I really wish I enjoyed it more.

And so the mysteries compound! This book picks up right where the first left off, and every new thing you learn only complicates the mysteries. We get to see much more mirror traveling and much more reading in this book than in the first.
I'm quite entranced and also rather vexed to find that the rest of the series, though already published in French, has not yet been translated into English.

I liked the first book but THIS ONE. I loved it.
The murder mysteries, the character development, thorn / ophelia situation, the cliffhanger (??) ... The Missing of Clairdelune is one of the best sequels I've read.

I was really hoping the series would pick up in the second book, and instead it sent me into the biggest reading slump I’ve had in a while. Safe to say I won’t be reading the other two books.
