A smutty version of Corbin Wale.

I loved this book. Simon and Rocco were adorable.

I *may* have squealed when Collin, Max & Spencer showed up on the page. (ok, I totally did.)

And apparently I'm going to have to read Kate Hawthorne's series. I swear it was on my TBR shelf I just didn't know it was connected! ugh. But if I want to like human James (I already like pocket James) I need to read that book.

But so do Parker and Ronan have a book? Did I miss some other connection? Because Parker's humor is super enjoyable and I want more.

Read this book! If you like reading book in order, like me, you might want to read [b:Heartless|52826003|Heartless (Room for Love, #2)|Kate Hawthorne|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1585675499l/52826003._SY75_.jpg|78976931] first. It's Levi (simon's brother) and James book and the second in that series.

I wasn't keen on a book starting with the dead father who was an Israeli soldier. Later in the book, someone refers to the politicians as "greedy men", the cause of death on both sides, and i felt more sympathetic to Simon's father situation.

Rocco will give Simon a larger family, though maybe not a closer family.

I was quite underwhelmed. The book starts with a big exposition dump. I didn’t buy the instalove. People kept saying that
Spoiler Rocco was a spoiled diva
but I never saw actual signs of it. So despite having things I love — Judaism, ASL, baking — this really wasn’t the book for me.

I really wanted to like this one and each of the main characters had qualities I enjoyed but overall I don't know if it was the writing or story but I was just waiting for it to be over so I could read something better

This story is absolutely adorable. It is sweet, it is soft, and I always appreciate a positive spin on porn stars, or at least something that seems more realistic.

I picked this one up because I wanted to read another book by this author and found the deaf pornstar an interesting route to go, plus I rarely read about someone who is actively involved in their faith in a positive way -- again, so many positives.

The thing is... I was kind of bored? I'm not sure why it couldn't hold my attention. There are definitely sad moments, and tears threatened to fall, but I couldn't get myself really involved into this one. I'm really not sure why, so I will give this series another try at another time.
