Sincerely, Dane by Ilsa Madden-Mills ─ 4.5 stars
Short, sweet and so much fun! I loved Piper and Dane's Halloween adventure and the cameo appearance of Benji and Spike was such an added bonus!

Always Cake by Max Monroe — 3 stars
Fun concept with a little My Best Friends Wedding vibe but without all the drama. I know it's a novella but it's super short! I would have loved more history and relationship build up between Emily and Austin.

Two More Days is an excellent anthology written by some of romances most proficient writers. In this review, I’ll specifically be reviewing the short story, “Sincerely Dane” by Ilsa Madden-Mills.

This narrative revolves around Dane and Piper, who have been friends for years, but have undeniable romantic chemistry that’s never been explored. Now that timing seems to be on their side, will they be able to cross that invisible line and become something more?

Fans of Dear Ava will recognize Dane and Piper, which enriches the story, though I don’t think it’s necessary to have read it first in order to enjoy “Sincerely Dane.” I love how Madden-Mills has brought these two characters together, and the setting of a Halloween scavenger hunt around the city is so mischievous and fun. It's a delightful, quick read that I thoroughly enjoyed. Selfishly, I hope Madden-Mills eventually expands this story into a longer novel or novella, because I was utterly charmed.

Personally, I think it’s worth purchasing Two More Days just for this story, but there are other great stories in the mix that make it all the more satisfying.

I rated each story individually and after calculating them all to get an average, it equaled 3.1.
My favorite/5 star rated stories:
Confessions by Lora Richardson
Breaking the Rules by Charleigh Rose
Office Hours by Alessandra Torre
When It Happens by Micaela Smeltzer

Also, have to mention Colleen Hoover’s short story (The Dress: 4 stars) because her and The Bookworm Box are why I have continued to read these anthologies. I loved her story, but it was only 21 pages! I wish there were just 10 more pages, especially since the short story by her in the first anthology was 54 pages with an epilogue! Some of the other short stories in this second anthology were also only 20 pages while some were 40+. This short story by her was really so good and worth the read though, as well as the entire anthology overall.

I read SIncerely, Dane by Ilsa Madden Mills and this short story was such a sweet read.

This is a cute and fun novella that is part of anthology and I hope will eventually be a full length story. Dane and Piper went to school together from high school on and now that Dane’s twin bother is married to Piper’s best friend they end up spending a lot of time together. Piper has always crushed on Dane but believes he has her firmly placed in the friend zone that she just accepts their relationship as is until one night a text makes her think about more. Dane hasn’t had it easy in life, he derailed at one point, and his relationship with Ari fizzled out because deep down I truly believe he’s always felt like Piper was his. In this story Dane comes to Piper’s apartment dressed as a werewolves and so the chaos ensues. He recruits her to help with a scavenger hunt that ends with an epic ending/beginning. The tension between them was tangible, the chemistry off the charts, and the can they will they flowed off the pages. I rally hope we get more of their story!!

Some good stories, some not so good ones—the usual from an anthology. CoHo’s was great—the usual from her.

Review for novella Sincerely Dane by Ilsa Madden Mills

The way I screamed when I heard that this anthology was going to have a novella about Piper and Dane from Dear Ava. Ya'll this novella did not disappoint! It was sweet, swoony, and all around a great and fun time! Piper and Dane were literally the cutest pair and I enjoyed reading about this fun little film scavenger hunt. Ilsa Madden-Mills knocked it out of the park and now I so so so want more from these two!

If you are looking for a cute and quick read, this novella is for you! I can't wait to dive into the other novellas in this anthology soon!

“Two more days …….”

I loved One More Step the first Anthology but this one hits different, I freaking loved it. There’s LOTS of romance, Insta love, revenge plotting, age gap, affairs, best friend love story’s, heartbreak, teacher student seduction and a runaway bride. So many of these short story’s have brought me new authors and a longer TBR.

While this book is huge yet was surprisingly easy to get though. I love that the proceeds of this book go to charity and cannot want to get my hands on a physical copy one day.

Contributing authors include: Aileen Erin, Alessandra Torre, Chanda Hahn, Charleigh Rose, Colleen Hoover, Dominique Laura, Eric R. Asher, Ilsa Madden-Mills, Jennifer Wilson, Jessica Hawkins, Jewel E. Ann, K. Bromberg, Kandi Steiner, Karina Halle, Katie Ashley, Kelsie Stelting, Laurelin Paige, Leia Stone, Lexi Ryan, Lora Richardson, M. Robinson, Marni Mann, Max Monroe, Meagan Brandy, Micalea Smeltzer, Dr. Rebecca Sharp, R.K. Lilley, S.J. West, Tijan and Willow Aster.
