Move into the house next door to your Best Friends little  sister all grown up,   what's the worst that could happen ?  Yes it's one of them   light-hearted yet tragic . Lovable characters  yet nothing really to write about

I actually enjoyed this story better than the other 2 books I’ve read from this author.

She has a new neighbor who just happens to be her brothers friend and he’s a divorced single dad. He doesn’t think he deserves love so he tries pushing her away but things don’t turn out like you want/expect them to.

What a great story about 2 people who want to be happy but just don't know how to get there. I really liked how Leo was so tormented by not only his military experiences but also by what his wife did and how Reese is so caring bit everyone takes advantage of her. They meet in the most mortifying conditions, but grow from there and you can't help but feel your heart strings being pulled while they work out who they are and what they deserve. You ca't help but love the characters including Reese's crazy friends and her brother so you just want to know more about them and hopefully the next books are as good as this one in the series!

I was offered a copy of the book for consideration for a review.

But her eyes on me feels good…like having the sun on my skin after far too many cold days. And when she smiles, it unlocks a strange sort of possessiveness in my chest. I don’t want her sharing that pretty smile with any other man. I want that smile all to myself.

I don't feel numb at all. I feel everything. Every emotion is magnified when she smiles at me, when she kisses me, when she lies next to me.

“I like how I feel when I’m around you. I feel like I can breathe.”

She's making me forget to be hurt and broken and anxious. She's putting my pieces back, holding me together like glue.

His expression becomes grave, concerned, maybe even a little bit afraid. Searching his face, I cup his cheek. “What is it?” “You make me happy.”

I thoroughly enjoyed Leo and Reese's story. Leo was troubled by his divorce and stressed over becoming a single dad to a rambunctious son.

Reese immediately stepped up and helped them out. In doing so, she quickly weasled her way into Leo's life. It really was wonderful writing from dual POVs that showed the budding lust, then love that grew between them. The angst broke my heart, but damn that ending was perfect!

Hot, sweet, adorably endearing, and with just the right amount of angst, Lover Boy was such a surprisingly good read!
