I hear that the reviews in Spanish are very good, however I must say, that I think maybe something got lost in translation, as I found the book a bit confusing in English. I didn’t feel like I properly knew the characters, and the narration of the book changes a lot without the reader knowing who’s the narrator.
I read the book during my first trip to Colombia which made the experience of reading it very special. It seems very true to reality of life in Bogotà, and it was a lot of fun reading about things and foods, that I have encountered during my trip.

Si tienen la oportunidad de leer este libro, no la tome.
El libro no tiene nada que ver con la novela negra, aunque la autora y la editorial lo digan. La sinopsis es engañosa y aquí vas a encontrar la crónica periodística literaria pero mal desarrollada, aquí no hay ningún misterio si hay un crimen pero nuestras protagonistas no van a resolverlo, es el menor de los problemas porque la realidad es más pesada que el crimen. No se distinguen los personajes femeninos (con la excepción de Karen) que cuando narran en primera persona llega a ser confuso al comienzo y parecen todas iguales, incluidos los hombres.
Lo leí para un club de lectura que dirijo y todos concluimos que el libro no nos gusto y no vale la pena.
