"Do you want to do something bad?" The sentence that started the book, the sentence that started it all. I love a good YA thriller and this was a good one. This psychological thriller is told from multiple perspectives as we explore what happens when good intentions lead to unforgivable consequences. While I enjoyed the read, it didn't really go as in-depth as I would have liked. The plot had so much promise, but it came across as a surface-level overview. I would have loved to know more about the experiments and the community created around them. With the concept presented, I think I wanted more of a dystopian feel. The book definitely started off strong but then plummeted and I started to lose interest. When the book did pick back up, chaos ensued through the end. This is my first book by this author, but I will definitely read more.
Thank you to @Netgalley and the author for the opportunity to read this advanced copy.
For me Kelley Armstrong can do no wrong with her books. I have loved everything she has written and Someone is Always Watching is no exception.
What if your memories aren't real??
The story follows a group of friends - Blythe, Gabrielle (Gabi), Tucker, and Tanya who are all students at a STEM high school for the children of the researchers and employees of CMT, a neurological research laboratory.
Gabi starts to become paranoid about different things. She goes on about the school’s security cameras and saying someone is always watching. She also believes her parents aren’t really her parents.
Things start to get worse when Gabi attacks and kills a teacher and ends up in a psychological hospital, and then Blythe and her other friends start having issues with their memory.
Tanya and Tucker try to figure out what is going on. Its not long before they start to realise that everything isn't as it seems.

Kelley Armstrong is an author from my childhood. So I was so excited to read this book.
Blythe goes to school for her parents company. When her friends start disappearing or acting strangely. They must dig up the past.
This book was good. It is a great Ya Thriller if you are just getting into thrillers. I was really into the story the whole im entire time since it starts quick paced right from the beginning.
You get twist and turns through out the whole story and makes you wonder if you’re remembering your memories correctly.
3.5⭐️
