This book was interesting. The characters changed and blurred into one another. I love the inclusivity and thoughtfulness about angels religion and jimmy’s gender. Overall this book was great but could have some slight tweaks

I love Alice Oseman and her books always make me laugh! Out loud! This story is so relatable and sweet. It was interesting to read a book that acknowledges the psychology of fandom and the celebrities they’re centered around. It was light and hopeful even though it tackled tough topics in a real way - as Alice Oseman is so good at doing! Will always be excited to read more of their work.

The best book I've ever read. Alice Oseman is incredible at writing believable characters that act and feel like real people

I loved that the story included sexual orientations and choices. I loved that it showed mental health issues. I loved how flawed the characters were. I loved that the boys stayed true to their music. The only thing I didn't like about this was the unfortunate meetings (like how Angel and Jimmy met or how badly Rowan treated Angel). Also, Marco was so weird. ✨

This book had a bit of a slow beginning, and an absolute whirlwind of an ending. I couldn't put it down towards the last hundred pages or so. It deals with so many real, ragged emotions, and the journey every character went on was intense in it's own way.

A popular band, a fandom, and people trying to figure out their place in this world. This was a good book to start off my 2023 reading - it has lots of positive representation and does include some heavy themes. However, reading a book about fandoms and a popular boy band just reminds me that there are many positives to being in a fandom. I could relate a bit about how Angel and Juliet met and that their love for a group brought them together. I love the Heartstopper series by Oseman, so if you enjoy them, give this novel a try! 💜
