I enjoyed this one just a little more than the first in the series but only because I love when the MC is a bit bitchy. I loved the twist. Again, I anticipated it pretty early on, but I thought this book had a really clever way of pulling it off. Again, the whole 'fated' thing felt like it was drawn out and then in a snap was full force and that was a little hard for me to believe but I think this book did it a little better than the first one.
I do like the world-building in this one and, again, the magic is really cool so it earned a solid 4 stars.
