Grant Morrison'ın ne kadar abartılmış bir çizgi roman yazarı olduğunun kanıtı olarak bu kitabı gösterebiliriz. Hayatımda bundan daha kötü bir Superman hikâyesi okumamış olabilirim.

Finally pushed through this one. I kept starting and stopping because the writing is atrocious. The plot is convoluted, uninteresting, and honestly not something anyone has to read: even for completion's sake.

I'm sorry, I just thought the giant octopus being named "Erik" was hilarious.

A sign of a graphic novel that isn't working for me is when I read it a week ago and have completely and utterly forgotten everything about it. That it's not memorable in and of itself is a failing, and I think I might be done with this one.

Just too muddled and unfocused to work, the occasional glimmers of brilliance hidden under confused plotting, a weird attitude to the new non continuity and the feeling Morrison isn’t enjoying the challenge at all. The art is particularly terrible and gloopy. Characterless mush that makes it hard to discern characters from each other

Usually when I write a comic review I do a synopsis and then my actual review, but that is impossible for me to do with this book. I don’t know what drugs Grant Morrison is taking, but maybe that’s what I need to understand what the hell I just read.

This was probably my favorite volume of Grant Morrison’s Action comics. It’s insane and a giant tribute to the silver age of Superman and I liked it very much. Though I’d call it a bit confusing at times because it isn’t always clear in its intentions but there is some good stuff here and it’s worth finishing if you’ve read the other two volumes.

3 stars and a universe bending story.

Meh. The plotting is messy and indistinct...and there are so many characters that the uninitiated won't know that it feels confusing. This is not a book for the novice Superman reader.

Bonus star for Krypto, the Superdog. I want more dogs with superpowers and I want them now.
It was good to see the pieces getting together but deep down it just felt like a cheap excuse to fix the mess made in the previous volumes. So the mess was intentional??? Was it really worth it??? The non-linear timeline was all over the place, I couldn't even comprehend what the heck was happening. My ADHD was not happy.
