I remember me and two of my friends at sleepovers would each grab a Scary Stories book and take turns reading the stories out loud. Some of the stories were really good but others...not so much.

This was better than the second and overall a good end to the trilogy. The stories felt more complete and more detail was given to characters and settings. While I was more scared of the art than the stories themselves, I still enjoyed this more than the second book. This trilogy may not be too scary for me now, but I imagine kids will get a lot of it. Still recommend if you want a quick horror anthology trilogy.

I waited until I finished the third book to comment and I have to say this last one is my favorite of all. The illustrations are much creepier, with more detail, and the quality of the stories themselves are much more advanced which make them more suitable for older audiences. The consistent comic relief chapter at the end is adorable (and quite effective).
