Louise Jensen is a completely new author to me and I picked this book as part of a reading challenge to "Read a book with a type of relative in the title" This review is going to be hard to write as I don't think I have adequate words to express how awesome this book was.
It is a heartbreaking story about three sisters that are kidnapped when they are younger. We know that all three survived their ordeal as part one of the story is told from the POVs of Leah in the present and Carly in the past. However knowing this doesn't detract from how electrifying this is to read, in fact I think this lends the story more depth and helps us understand the characters motivations in the present.
I love the way this book is set out in short, punchy chapters that always seem to end on a cliffhanger so you find yourself saying "just one more chapter, I have to know what happens next". There are lots of twists and surprises along the way that you would expect in a good thriller but I wasn't prepared for the ugly crying. The plot is well thought out and some difficult subjects are tackled as each sister may have escaped but now each have their own demons to live with.
I think I will be suffering a little bit of a book hangover now I've finished this one. Definitely worthy of the full five stars.

f you’ve been here before, you know I am a huge fan of Louise Jensen. If you’re new, well, be aware I am a huge fan of Louise Jensen!
Why do I mention it?
Because I tend to be even more critical of the work of those who have given me the best reading experiences. So when I picked up The Stolen Sisters, the expectations were sky-high and my hopes bigger than life.
Did the novel deliver? Let’s see.
Three sisters. Multiple point of views. Two timelines.
Mixing all of these seems complicated, don’t you think?
Not for Louise Jensen.
Oh My Goodness. The Stolen Sisters has become my second favorite book by Louise, really close to her debut, The Sister. Ha, I spot a link here
