This was an interesting book about characters dealing with the aftermath of a traumatic childhood event that forever changes them mentally and emotionally. The way the author portrays how trauma and grief can manifest in so many different ways, even between three sisters that experienced the same thing, was interesting. There were a few twists that I didn't see coming, and the writing style was engaging enough that I devoured this book in two days.

It was a really great storyline, immensely hard to put down. I just feel like the end story of Carly and Marie was very much rushed

Oh my. What a fabulously engrossing tale with lots of twists and turns. Louise quite rightly fooled us into thinking somethings when they were something else completely. I was hooked from beginning to end.

Shocking, heartbreaking, betrayal and hope all balled into one. Jensen has once again taken my breath away, a story about three sisters who needed each other and would do anything to protect themselves against an evil I just wasn’t prepared for.
Each sister has their own troubles that stemmed from their kidnapping, one untrusting of everyone, one turned to drink/drugs and the third scared of everything. All holding onto a guilt thinking they were all to blame.
Filled with twists I couldn’t predict the outcome of any part - the truth brought tears to my eyes. I sympathised with all involved (apart from ‘him’), a truly terrifying situation that should never have been.

Louise Jensen is the queen of massive twists and humungous red herrings that I didn’t guess and totally got suckered into believing. Stolen Sisters is a tense read as you follow multiple viewpoints across different timelines. There’s also so many mini cliffhangers in this story you’re left reeling whilst your attention is drawn elsewhere, then when you go back to the cliffhanger Jensen takes you in a completely different direction to where you expected (it’s really hard not to give away any spoilers!). A cracking read, with sympathetic characters and twists galore.
