The last of the series focusing on Nova. I did find this one to be unnecessarily long, but I guess the writing was trying to cover plot holes. It just ended up being more side quests than I preferred. That epilogue was a shocker and did not catch any of those clues scattered throughout the series.

It's definitely a lot more improved than the Lunar Chronicles (IMO the most "YA" series ever, not that I hate it or anything) which had a kinda underwhelming last book

Feels like the epilogue is setting up for a spinoff/sequel?

I can’t really put into words how much I loved this book series. It wasn’t like anything i read before. From the world building, to the characters, to the plot i believe that the author made a great job. Nova is outstanding and the constant inner battle between her principals is just wow. This book made me realize that is no good and bad. The most important thing about us is not what part of the barricade we were born into but what we choose to do and what we stand for. She is the perfect example of fighting for your values and also realizing that it is never to late to stand up for yourself.

How rude of Marissa to put that little epilogue in there and then NOT WRITE ANOTHER BOOK.

such a bizarre time reading - I flew through it, like would blink and 50 pages had gone by. BUT - it didn't really grip me? I adore some of the characters (Max, Ruby & Oscar were such delightful characters to read) but I just wanted more. This almost felt like the whole series could have been condensed into one book and it would have given the same oomf HOWEVER I still had fun reading this, so can't complain too much. It just felt like there was such a quick resolution given everything that was built up in the first two books and all the secrets etc to get such an easy, quick, forgiveness-filled ending to the series? Would have loved to have explored the characters and their moral dilemmas a bit more
