On the Edge is where Lee is living now. She has alienated all of her friends, well, except for Chuck. For such a smart strong woman Lee has always let her inability to have children convince her she was a lesser wolf in her pack. Now she doesn't have her support system, can she break out of her continuing downward spiral? She is retreating into herself, the only time she is her old self is in the game world. She knows her gaming partner, Valek, is actually Vince of her pack. But she just knows that he could never like her if he knew who she was. Vince is split, he feels drawn to Lee, but his gaming partner Glilee is such a good match in personality. And Lee won't give him the time of day. Can he convince Glilee to meet in real life?

I like Ms Stewart's wringing style, it just flows. The story catches you up on the previous characters and the continuing Canidae problem, while following a new couple. This book makes you feel like these are real people, that you could care about them.

I really enjoyed Lee and Vince's story. Lee has had a hard life and feels unloved but this story shows that she is more than loved, she is cherished and needed by the pack. Vince has his own drama to overcome and it is his love for Lee that helps him survive. I was so happy to see Lee and Vince find love, they both deserve to be happy. It was also nice to check back in with the Adirondack pack.

Poor Lee! She is living in a self made Hell of recrimination, rejection and isolation. After her misguided attempts at protecting Owen from what she thought was potential disaster, she has locked herself away. She is barely eating, works on automatic pilot and refuses to even speak to Owen, Ty, Sadie or Mira. But as she secretes herself away will she give into the ever increasing depths of depression which she is facing? Will she go feral or claw herself back from the brink? Chuck is her last lifeline to the pack. Except for her online gaming with Vince. Except he doesn't' know its her - he thinks it's someone called Glilee.

Vince has had his eye on Lee for a while but she never gives him the time of the day. But as they are drawn together and her ruse is revealed, Vince gets taken unawares and ends up fighting for his life with unknown allies!

Fast paced, intrigue riddled and witty banter. You get swept along in the brilliant story and there are still a few surprises lurking for Mira and Sadie too!! The Canidae are still causing mayhem and destruction.
