I am incredibly pleased with myself that I got through this! In the end it was easy, the characterisations and unexpected turns to events, with the nasty Uriah Heap and hilarious Macawber family truly reaching my heart. Read it!

This was my first time reading this classic novel and I was not disappointed! It has been on my TBR list for a while and also a part of my Gilmore Girls reading list, so when my book club subscription box did a classic edition I knew I had to grab one to finally read it!
I was impressed with the writing and the character development. The characters were so well written that I really loved and hated them as fit the theme. Following David's life was an emotional journey I am sure I will have to take again!
