The first tale in this issue is about a man who makes a deal with a demon to look young as long as he continues to take selfies with a particular phone. I loved this concept but with only having about 12 pages dedicated to the story I found it a little confusing and rushed.

The second tale is about a young Southern woman desperately trying to prep for her debutante ball. Her mother is putting enormous pressure on her. As the day of the ball arrives, the young woman makes a transformational change, that all attendees will surely remember. I loved this second story. The contrast between beauty and horror was enjoyable.

Overall, as the first arc in Creepshow ends, I don’t think I will continue with the series. Too many of the issues were only just meh for me. I loved some of the stories but am not enjoying this series enough to continue reading.

Thirst Trap: 0⭐️’s. Half of the dialogue read like a bad Google translation. Seriously, who was this tripe written for? This story was aimed at people who don’t read comics. Hell, it was aimed at people who don’t read.

Husk: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Now this was more like it! Great story, creepy art and a good conclusion. But it took them until the final issue to nail one.

Wasn't a big fan of the first story - it was a modern take on "A Picture of Dorian Gray" that didn't really land, and needed a rewrite - but the second story was possibly my favorite story of the entire run: a debutante ball that evolves into a bloody ball; the art was absolutely killer for that one too!
