I’ll give St. Germain props for being realistic, but then after the half way point it got sloppy to the point where you can tell she wanted the book to be over. How things resolved were almost effortless and didn’t mesh well with her realistic portrayal of life, love, and death.
And that epilogue was a prologue wtf

I mean...phew!
Now that is a way to end a very awesome series!
Although short I still loved it, every single word.
I love the relationship between Jase and Juliette. Although it was rocky at its point they seemed to pull through and make it work. Lili is quite amazing and I truly did love this series and I can't wait to read more from her in the future. I am glad I found this series on a whim and turned out to be a favorite from the start.
Then again, I do love me a good dark read.
This one also didn't disappoint in the least.
That's why I rated 4 stars altogether!

I am finally at peace with the ending of this series.
I loved it and really loved learning more and more about Jase. #JaseIsBae
Ms. Germain is one of my most fave authors and she never disappoints. For a while there I thought it was a bit touch and go and at one point I was expecting for all of them to all die in a fiery death... I was on edge. :D
Great series and will definitely be re-reading and forever recommending and convincing everyone and anyone to read them.

Maybe if I had have read this closer to reading the others I may have completely loved it, but it wasn't out when I finished book 7 and I didn't actually know this was a thing until recently so it's been quite a while since I read them and got caught up in the drama.
It was good, lots of stuff happens but I do know I didn't like it as much as some others in the series but that's just because they were so packed with emotion and drama that stuck with me and this one by itself I know won't stick in my mind like those did.
