"Goldtooth is Minister of Paperclips, Pins, & Related Affairs. The Ministry of Paperclips, Pins, & Related Affairs was instituted in the middle of the Economic Depression 2012. Its motto “Waste not, want not”, its main aim to reduce expenditure across Paradise by minding small waste, such as of paper clips and pins which, it assured, would raise the economy out of the quagmire. Indeed under Goldsmith’s guidance the Ministry has led to savings of the order of US$ 1 million no less almost every year. When founded it was hailed as an unprecedented innovation. Experts from all over the world arrived to learn from the experience. The Ministry of Paperclips, Pins, & Related Affairs costs, on average, US$ 100 million a year to run."
- The Emperor’s New Clothes: A Bedtime Story for Children of all Ages Living in Democracies, by Farhad A K Sulliman Khoyratty

This collection has a great many heart-wrenching windows into political strife, social exclusion, the growing pains of childhood, and current affairs. Khoyratty's story encapsulates the ethos of this collection: light comedy glosses over satire, and complex ideas are explored in simple idiom. The collection is worth purchasing for this addition alone.
