Omg WALKER. That man came in and loved Olivia so hard and rescued her from her abusers. I smiled so hard listening to this.

These books are so dumb (in a funny way) and messed up. I listen to them at 2.5x speed. It's messed up that it mixes this serious subject, a child rockstar turned Britney Spears-like celebrity where she's locked into a conservatorship. Her mom and this guy drugged her and made it look like she's an addict. And the guy has repeatedly raped her. And then there's Walker 'Disney' Davis doing ridiculous shit like ice skating with just a cock sock on, having his dick flop around, getting his dick pierced with friendship beads. But then he goes and pokes holes in a condom to intentionally get her pregnant. In Texas, in 204. It's just beyond fucked up. I knew from the first 2 books this would be bad lol. Idc if these are spoilers, they're also trigger warnings.
Olivia Darling is a very young popstar. As said above, after she got out of rehab she refused to perform. She goes to a hockey game with her cousin and sees Walker play and they make eye contact and it's insta-love. They have a one night stand where he pokes holes in the condom. She leaves and he tracks her down using a PI. He finds out she's going to be in the wedding of another hockey player so he blackmails his way to be a groomsmen so he can be with her again. He gets her to agree to move to Dallas, because at the same time he gets his dream offer to move from CA to TX to play for them on the same team as the guys in the first 2 books. Olivia gets permission by agreeing to perform for the first time in years while there. Walker negotiates and later blackmails her mom and the guy to let them be a couple together while he continues to try to get Olivia pregnant. He replaces her birth control pills with placebos, feeds her pre-natal vitamins and food, constantly tests her pee to see if she's pregnant. When she finally realizes she is pregnant she's already 2 months along. Her mom instantly discovers it and demands she get an abortion but Walker comes in and blackmails her. Later the guy shows up and Walker smashes his dick with a hammer. And both the mom and guy later confess in court and Olivia gets the conservatorship to end.
Idk why Walker didn't immediately plan to marry her. Wouldn't that have ended it sooner? But the book is dumb so idk why I expected anything to be logical.
