I was so excited for this book, but I sadly DNF'ed about 20% in! I refuse to believe this was written by the same author that wrote Hush, Hush and the Off Balance series...

This book … it felt like the author wanted to just write spice and then fit the plot around it. Super predictable and nearly gave up, it’s a sweet story if that is what you are looking for. Was hoping for a little more oomph but was very bored. The spice though was extremely spicy

4🌶️ I went into this expecting to like it but my god I was hooked from the first chapter. I loved how confident Vanessa was she may have been the younger side of this age gap but she was the perfect embodiment of a character I would believe would have a successful age gap relationship. I love how weak Reed is for her like homie falls so fast. I think it would've been fun if they had explored a little more of his time in prison 👀 but honestly I loved their chemistry and really had the best time reading this one!

Lucia Franco is such a special author to me. The Off Balance series is my favourite series of all time and this book blew me away. I love forbidden romances and Franco can do those effortlessly. This is her first book in 3 years (I think??) and I definitely missed her writing. Vanessa and Reed are not as top tier for me as Ria and Kova but man, their chemistry is

Omg this book is 🔥🔥🔥🔥

I've had this book on my kindle since release day and I wish I'd read it sooner!!

The 🌶🌶 in this one is next level! I love it!!

Vanessa and Reed are 🔥! The chemistry between these two is incredible!

I love the storyline too, no spoilers so you'll just have to read it!! But brothers best friend!! Love it!!
