This was a beautiful and sad story. I liked the characters. I didn’t like the way the colonization of Palestine was portrayed as this wonderful thing but otherwise a nice story.

i just realized that this is part of a series after reading half of the book, but i loved it and i dont think there is much spoilers for the other books; i hope there isnt much. heartbreaking, yet also a heartwarming story. i cried so much while reading it. i recommend this book, and please do read the authors note and see the pictures at the end of the book. i was emotionally involved in their stories ): i love it
