Loved loved loved this! I definitely preferred it to the first book, Happy Girl Lucky. It shows the process of Faith finding her real self and discovering who she wants to be in life. All her life she had a structured, forced celebrity life, despite being only sixteen. When her boyfriend, who seems to only like her looks, it seen kissing another girl, she realises that she doesn’t have to be all perfect for the cameras a and she tries to find herself, with the help of her new friend, Scarlett. When it came to the part about Mercy’s twin sister Charity, it honestly made me well up with tears, with is very rare for books to do for me. I binge read most of this book in one night, so I clearly was obsessed.
I have read almost all of Holly Smale’s books (apart from the novellas) and this was by far my favourite of them all. I couldn’t recommend her books enough, especially this one!
