I loved this series in middle-school. It's one of those gate-way series that lead you in. I appreciate this series for what it is and am glad that I finished it.

This is going to be a great challenge. I haven't read a manga this long, but it makes sense to read one of the mangas that started the whole anime/manga/japan love for me!

It's bringing a lot of memories already (I watched a loooot of the show), and even though I was spoiled for the ending, I feel like I'm going to enjoy this.

PS: I cringe every time I read Naurto's famous line, "I'm going to be Hokage." I don't know why, maybe because he says it so damn much? :D

he a ninja and he beat up da bad guy
adventurous funny mysterious medium-paced

Oh no, here we go again

I read this at the request of my 10 year old.
Now, I am aware that is was written in a different time, yet I cannot get past the uncomfortable feelings it brought up. The Japanese centre fold was shocking and then the arrival of the character Sakura - the only female character. She is a hollow character that lusts after a boy. So sad. So boring. So disappointing.
So much so that I couldn’t see the good parts to the manga.

almost done with the show figured it was time to read it, and i am biased because i love the show but it is just solid.
