This was a light and fluffy thriller set in the publishing industry. An enjoyable read although the ending was vaguely predictable and the concluding letters were lazy.

steif und kreuz und quer was den Plot angeht. gute Idee, hätte besser umgesetzt werden können. Persönlichkeiten machen ein 360 Grad Verwandlung ohne, dass man es mitkriegt

The Readers Room was a fast paced and addictive read that, whilst not quite meeting my expectations, nevertheless had me totally hooked.

I am not really sure what happened. The beginning of the story was quite good, but past the middle mark it seemed that the author just wanted to be done with it as soon possible, which resulted in an absurd and unbelievable resolution and unexplained plot points.
Well, on the upside, at least it wasn't overly long.

A mystery wrapped in a character study told with absolute precision.

Recommended for fans of French fiction, those who like a story told with economy but also with impact.
