GO RIMBAUD!!
I found myself consistently revisit his writings ever since I started reading them.
He influenced many of my heroes and I found him at the right time, when I was interested in surrealism and dadaism in my early teens, I sound like a mad hipster right now, but truly, that was best year to have found Rimbaud. He's like the spokesperson for teenage thirst of freedom. This is personal to me! Lol

Honestly, this book was really disappointing. From his quotes Rimbaud seemed profound especially for his age, but in truth he writes like a try hard. I don’t understand why the beat poets looked up to him. Very sad to say because one of the quotes in his letters is one of my favorite quotes of all time. His poetry however is bland and lifeless. The prose is just a little better.
