Honestly, I loved the artwork and illustrations; they were truly beautiful. Some of the messages were also very wholesome and uplifting. However, there’s no real plot, so it felt like those positive messages were just thrown at you with pretty illustrations. That pretty much sums up my take on this one.

This book is honestly such a gift. It teaches some of the best lessons in such a simple and easy way.
I kept thinking when I read this book, wow was it this easy to learn these things? Mackesy does such an amazing job breaking it down, and giving it a child like wonder as well. I wish I had this book back when I was younger!

This is now one of my favorite books & I will always come back to it ❤
5 stars
I definitely want to own a copy of this book. Such a quick read since it's only a little over 100 pages with nice paintings and wonderful heartwarming messages. Even though the book isn't long I can definitely see myself rereading it more in the future. It would be a nice choice for a coffee table book or to have in an office as I can see many people's interests being peaked by it.
A warning to those who don’t like reading books in an author’s handwriting that this book may not be the best fit for them. Mr. Mackesy writes in cursive using the same ink he paints with throughout the book. I personally like it as it’s a nice personal touch but I’ve noticed some younger individuals struggling to read cursive writing.
