The illustrations in this book are beautiful, and the quotes are really lovely. True, as stated in the intro, you can open this book on any page and enjoy what it says as a positive and warming quote.
Unfortunately, despite this, I found myself irritated by this book. None of the quotes seemed to tie in together, instead making it seem like a string of Instagrammable hashtags, as oppose to a book with an arc. Several times I felt there was an area where this could be strung together, but instead another random quote was thrown in. There was no character, no story, no arc, it was quotes with illustrated placeholders, so it wasn't for me unfortunately!
Despite that, I'll patiently wait for this to be turned into wall art.
