lovely lil quick read with lots of encouraging ideas.
Hoopvol. Geeft moed. Prachtige levenswijsheden, zo van die soort die je nodit hebt wanneer het even moeilijk is.
De tekeningen zijn ook buitengewoon mooi!
Ook leuk dat er zoveel eigenheid van de auteur in zit, bijvoorbeeld in de introductie maar ook ergens in het boek staat een leuke voetnoot!

If I could rate it just for the illustration, I would have rated it at the highest level. But the words ruined that experience for me. When I first leafed through the book, I was excited in anticipation of discovering another Little Prince. But alas, it lacks the depth, the artistic ambiguity, the story-telling power, or the emotional punch of that book. The thoughts are predictable and cliche, and they don't connect with the characters or their action. It felt like reading a stack of motivational posters in a health club wall. However, the illustrations are fabulous, and I don't regret buying it just for that reason.

Cartea e formată doar din fragmentele de dialog dintre ei, iar firul narativ se poate compune, cu un mic exercițiu de imaginație, pe baza ilustrațiilor din carte (care sunt absolut superbe, dacă tot am adus vorba, așa ca niște schițe)
Nu are un fir narativ, nu se discută acțiunea, firul temporal e puțin fuzzy.
E o carte despre relații, cu alții, cu tine însuți, despre valoarea lor, despre prieteni și timpul petrecut cu tine și cu alții. Se poate citi la orice vârstă, e simpatică și îmi dă vibes de “Micul Prinț”.
Pe mine personal nu prea pot să zic că m-a dat pe spate, e simpatică, merge răsfoită de multe ori (e o lectură foarte rapidă, am terminat-o în maxim 10 minute cu tot cu holbatul la ilustrații), dar ca să fiu sinceră pe mine nu mă prea prind cărțile de genul, mi se par cumva confuze, am nevoie de un fir logic de care să mă țin, altfel mi se pare doar o aglomerare de citate drăguțe.

A beautifully illustrated book of digestible quotes that make you feel warm and fuzzy about life and rising through the darkness.
Found this kind of frustrating to read! Would love it as an occasional post in my insta feed and adored the animation they made though!

So heartwarming. Sure it’s saccharine but it’s meant to be. A sweet and short tale that has some meaningful passages.
I know I will read this book repeatedly, the story is as beautiful as the illustrations, I want to display the pages all over my house as daily reminders to myself.
