This book is a stunning work of art that moved me to some tears and got me right in the heart. Some of the pages feel as if I was reading a mirror image of myself, and at the exact same time they wrap a comforting blanket around you. I think this is a book everyone should read.

A beautiful short story that can be read in around 20 mins. Simplistically connecting to our basic human emotions, suitable for all ages, child to elderly. I recall shedding a tear the first time I read this book. Illustrations are imperfectly artistic and I loved the whole book.

I can see why this book is considered such a classic! Its narrative is heartwarming and hopeful, following characters that are complicated, lovable, and well illustrated. A noteworthy book to return to at any age to remind oneself of the importance of compassion, kindness, and love.
