Final rating 4.5 stars.

Why is it not 5 stars? Well, I just didn't like that there wasn't any scientific or explanation about how its possibly to time travel like that. It just unnerved me, even if they made up some bullshitty explanation, it would of sufficed.

OTHER THAN THAT, that cliff hanger ending! The other thing that I don't like, but that didn't effect the rating, haha.

Meh. I had high hopes for this book because of the idea of time travel.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed - the characters especially the protagonist Gwyneth, lacked development. Her role was forced to delve into time traveling right away, and despite that she didn't have any idea about it because no one expected her to have the gene, I should have liked her if she tried to unravel the mystery a lot better afterwards. Instead she stayed clueless and naive until the end. In fact, I think I'm going to like Lucy and Paul's love story more than Gwyneth and Gideon's.

The writing sounded and felt like a children's fantasy as well.

I'm giving it 3 stars because atleast it's fast-paced, set in London, and the historical part was interesting but I don't think I have to continue with the series.
