To be honest, the author went a little too heavy handed with the suspense. By the end we still had no answers and the whole book felt like a setup for the next book. I’m also not a fan of Gideon at all and I don’t find the romance believable. The development was abrupt and I never saw a real building tension between our characters. There were some funny moments which helped redeem some points for the story.
