It was good. Nice to read a cutesy book like this and he's searching for her. It was also nice bc you didnt expect her to not come back with Q. So yea. But im not much of a one for a mystery so eh. But its J Green.

The main plot is very good and intriguing, but the romantic subplot of the main characters could have easily been platonic and still captivating.

It was a really funny book. I liked it a lot but it seemed like Margo didn't care about anyone else. She was so self centered and I got so mad at the ending. I screamed and threw the book against the wall. Overall it was a really funny book but I hated the ending.

It's hard for me to write a review of this book, because I don't exactly know how I feel about all of it. This is honestly one time I would rather not use stars to rate a book, but if I have to, I don't think I will put stars on it.

John Green has an amazing way with words. He weaves the story together beautifully, and Q is quite the interesting character, but the book as a whole didn't draw me in the way I was hoping.

Honestly, I am so sick of boys like Q in YA. He is obsessed with Margo Roth Spiegelman (which is how she is nearly always referred to--very annoyingly. I swear, if Q was having sex with her, he'd call out MARGO ROTH SPIEGELMAN in climax), who is basically a horrible person. Why, when there are genuinely good people around, would someone choose Margo? I understand her in the context of the story, but I just didn't enjoy reading about a boy who is blindly in love with a girl who is an awful human being. His blind affection for Margo grated on my nerves, and made him less likeable. His decision at the end though, once he finds Margo, redeems him a bit in my eyes.

John Green is amazing, and I wish more people wrote with his style, but I can't say I enjoyed this book for it's characters as much as I hoped to. And I know people will be upset that I hated the characters, because isn't about the writing, blah, blah, blah, but this is my review, about how I felt, and I'll be honest.

Personally I thought this book was quite a slow paced mystery. I thought the rebellious bits with Margo and the clues where fun and I also liked some of the characters and the humor. But I overall didn't really like this book.It was boring and half of the time the story went nowhere. Would be a fun movie though ;)
