An instant connection is felt between Vann and Landon from the minute the quiet and reserved doctor orders his first cappuccino. What starts out a simple flirting turns into so much more when Landon is exactly the right combination of kink for Vann. But when the connection is taken to the limit and Vann's history comes into play will this be the ending of the perfect relationship? Or will the feelings that Vann has for Landon be exactly what he needs to overcome his past? Simply entertaining from the first page to the very last. The connection between Landon and Vann just leaps off the page and the reader cannot help but fall in love right along with them. With sensual scenes that had just the right amount of spark this was an awesome book - best in the series so far!!

Enjoyed this one quite a bit. Not sure the whole series is really for me, but this one.. yeah. I mean, who isn't a fan of cinnamon rolls discovering their subby side and learning to love being a rope bunny?

Vanilla Steamer marks my return to the wonderful world of Bold Brew, and it did not disappoint! This novella was the perfect blend (no pun intended hehe) of sweet and steamy. I absolutely adored the relationship between Vann and Landon. Their exploration of kink, with Vann taking the lead, was scorching hot and breathtakingly tender. That said, I do have one minor complaint and a suggestion for future readers.

While I acknowledge that the story is a novella, I wish the author spent more time building the relationship between Vann and Landon. I wanted more scenes of them together before they started dating. I wanted more flirting! I wanted more banter!

It is also worth noting that while each Bold Brew book is a standalone, characters from previous books do reoccur. Or in the Vann's case, a previously introduced supporting character becomes the main character. So it may be worth reading the books in order to get a fuller story.

I loved how they took care of each other in their own way at the end.

So the pretense on which our main character, Vann, was afraid to play with ropes again was a little thin, but ya girl's gonna look past that since this was a pretty hot little nugget all in all. Crystal Lacy was also a new-to-me author, so discovering her as part of this series was fun.
