Oh Tanya... we need to talk.
The first thing I’ll say, because it made an impression on me, is that their are quite of few vomiting moments in this book- like literally more than one. I am someone who has extreme anxiety when it comes to vomiting. Luckily, reading about it in books doesn’t affect me however, in this book the vomiting was described in detail and it was very unpleasant to read

This book was fun.
I wish the story had focused more on Gordon. I felt like it should've been more of his AND Nima's story, not him being a side character in Nima's.
Also, for the name "Kings, Queens, and In-Betweens," I can't remember a single nonbinary character who spoke. And if there was one, they got like 2 lines of dialogue.
Overall a fun book about figuring yourself out and the queer community.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The part about Nima's mom felt underdeveloped and boring

This was a fun one. It was also refreshing to have a queer story that was fun and without the presence of a big T trauma.
in a reading slump and just couldn’t get through the common plot
Cute and heart warming, not fully fleshed out imo but enjoyable enough I didn't mind too much
